I've had a wonderful experience learning French with Tumu Learning. Umut is a very patient teacher who caters his curriculum to meet the needs of his students.

I have learned a lot since I have taken lessons with Umut. At first, French seemed like a complex language, but Umut made it easy to understand by patiently explaining and giving examples, and he always asked if I had any questions. Additionally, after each class, he always put some exercises on the learning portal for me to do on my own time, which helped me understand more! In terms of the speaking part, Umut is the best; I have told him my goal and that I would like to learn how to speak confidently. He made me very comfortable speaking French; if that word were complicated, he would make sure I said it correctly by being so patient. I am so lucky to have met Umut, and I enjoy learning French with him every week!

It is really fun to learn French with Umut aka Tumu Learning. He gives you a flexibility to decide what you study or he can also come up with some ideas. The courses are really interactive with videos and some listening practices. He always tries to help and being helpful. I improved my French a lot by speaking with him in our one to one courses. He help me to build the courage to speak and improve it along the way.

I started "again" (I learned French long time ago) the French journey with Umut this June. After about 50 lessons we spent together, I am more and more confident in speaking and writing French. Before then, I have carried many negative thoughts. For example, my spoken French is so poor that I'd better avoid speaking it. I am too old to learn a third language. I am living in a non-francophone city and can hardly improve my French. Umut has helped me to get rid of these thoughts and false beliefs. I know I am always demanding towards my teacher (same attitude to my yoga teacher and personal trainer) and am always looking for fast progress. He is patient enough to accept my impatience.
